Welcome to The Ardmore Vet – a purpose-built, small animal clinic established in 2009 by Dr. April, who has been serving the local Papakura area since emigrating from the UK in 2003. With over 43 years of veterinary experience, April created a practice rooted in genuine care, community connection, and a commitment to treating every pet as her own. From humble beginnings, the clinic has grown into a trusted, well-established practice with a loyal client base. We’re proud to be part of the lives of so many local pets and their families.

Located just minutes from Papakura, Takanini, Clevedon, and Manurewa/Manukau, The Ardmore Vet is nestled in the rolling countryside of Brookby and Clevedon. We believe that a vet visit doesn’t need to be rushed, stressful, or squeezed between errands. Our rural setting offers a calm, peaceful environment that puts pets and their people at ease—far removed from the hustle and bustle of traffic, shopping, or school pickups.
